The Carlton County Suicide Prevention Taskforce aims to prevent suicide through Public Awareness and education. The taskforce has been meeting since 2007. Efforts combining early childhood, housing, and environmental factors to increase healthy living options for young children and their families. We coordinate Operation Commuity Connect (a low income and homeless resource fair), do housing inspections, a public awareness campaign about homelessness in our region, provide trainings, and out reach with the schools.
