We’re only as strong as our weakest neighbors.

You might not think your family is impacted by the work we do at Carlton County Children and Family Services Collaborative, but the truth is, we’re all connected. When one segment of the population suffers, everyone suffers. When every group does well, we all do better.

We improve our entire community by lifting up the neediest, the youngest, the frailest members of our society, and this is how we all get stronger.

Suicide Prevention

The Carlton County Suicide Prevention Taskforce aims to prevent suicide through Public Awareness and education.  The taskforce has been meeting since 2007.  They have organized numberous trainings serving over 300 people from our communities.  The taskforce works annual to offer a suicide memorial/remeberence walk.  The group meets quarterly at the Carlton County transportation building.  For […]

Growing Up Healthy Project

Efforts combining early childhood, housing, and environmental factors to increase healthy living options for young children and their families.  We coordinate Operation Commuity Connect (a low income and homeless resource fair), do housing inspections, a public awareness campaign about homelessness in our region, provide trainings, and out reach with the schools.
