Description

This "Pre-Natal/Early Childhood Resources Guide" offers excellent places to go to learn and share, informs you of some really terrific people to learn with, and lists places to entrust your children.

Please use our Carlton County resources well and frequently. Don't wait until the children are older. Spend as much time and effort with them now, while they are very young. It will save you great time and effort later, when they are older. Mothers and fathers are very important to the growth of children.

There are four key areas for families with young children to focus on:

  • Good, early consistent nutrition
  • Activities to increase brain development
  • Having a close connection with your children (attachment)
  • Taking care of yourself

This resource guide was a contribution of many people working together, and special thanks go to Chris Cameron, who assembled the final directory.

Sincerely,
Glenn Tobey
Collaborative Coordinator
